We are so excited to announce that we’ve officially closed our pre-seed round! Our investors include Morgan Stanley’s Ventures Lab, Data Tech Fund, First Row Partners, Alliance of Angels, and several of our partner accounting firms.

Having firms that already run their client work on COUNT choose to invest in us means everything. They trust us with their clients’ data, their operations, and now their capital and future. That kind of belief in what we’re building is the strongest signal we could ask for, and it fuels us every day.

As AI continues to reshape the financial world, our mission keeps getting bigger. The future won’t be about who can automate a transaction the fastest. It will be about who gives accountants and bookkeepers the smartest, most connected space to review, verify, and collaborate on the work that AI produces.

We built COUNT on one simple belief: accounting should happen where the data lives. When your general ledger and your practice management system live in separate places, you’re constantly switching context, losing time, and creating space for mistakes. We’re fixing that by bringing workflows, reviews, conversations, and automations together in one unified platform. The result is a calmer, faster, and more natural way to work.

This funding gives us the ability to move even faster toward that vision. We’re enhancing our Month-End Close Wizard, expanding bank, payroll, and payment integrations, and growing our onboarding and support teams so firms can transition to COUNT without the usual multi-tool pain. The goal is simple: one system where everything just works together.

We are so grateful to our investors and design-partner firms who believed in this mission from the beginning. Their feedback, patience, and partnership have shaped COUNT into something truly special. They’ve shown that when accountants and clients work where the numbers actually live, collaboration feels effortless and closing the books becomes part of the flow, not a stressful end-of-month rush.
