Manual bookkeeping wastes talent and time. After years building and running products and finance workflows, we saw teams buried in categorization, reconciliations, and month-end chases.
COUNT exists to remove that grind and put insight back at the center of the work. We believe accounting should be about strategic decision-making, not data entry.

COUNT is led by Chris Smith (CEO & Co-Founder) and Derek Harn (Co-Founder), with engineers from companies like Meta and Amazon. We work side-by-side with bookkeepers, CPAs, and SMB operators to ship practical automation that holds up in the real world.
